Animator

We're currently working on an unannounced PC/console title (with an exciting pedigree), and need an experienced animator to help bring it to life.

If you've got the experience and enjoy working with a small-ish (less than 20) group of talented and passionate game devs, then we're the place for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create awesome animations for characters and environments

  • Work on characters from start to finish, including rigging, skinning, animating, implementing and troubleshooting

  • Rig and skin characters of all shapes and sizes

  • Collaborate iteratively with designers, programmers and other team members to implement characters and animations in engine

  • Provide reasonable time estimates, and communicate when adjustments are needed

REQUIRED:

  • Experience as animator on a commercial title

  • At least 3 years commercial game development experience

  • Solid knowledge and experience using 3ds Max

  • Experience and interest in creating rigs for characters

  • A thorough understanding of animation pipelines and the process involved from the conceptual phase to implementation

  • Able to effectively collaborate with other departments

  • Motivated and self-driven; complete tasks without intense supervision

  • Skilled problem solver

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

PLUSES:

  • Experience using Unity

  • Experience with MaxScript

  • Experience with FX and particle animation
